Question: Are the Lee County Sheriff Office Employees giving to the Marceno political campaign voluntarily?
Answer: There has been speculation that the LCSO employees have been encouraged to give money to the Marceno Political Campaigns. In return the employee will be given greater consideration in promotions or assignments.
Compare the LEO giving from Mike Scott to that of Carmine Marceno (Chart).

Question: Were members of the Lee County Sheriff Office encouraged to give campaign donations to members of the Board of County Commissioners political campaign funding?
Answer: It would appear based on the political giving from 188 LCSO personnel that these individuals were encouraged to give political funds to the various BOCC members that were running for office. (see article from Gulf Coast News)
Carmine Marceno provided substantial political funds to the members of the BOCC from his PAC Funds.
