DOGE
The Governor (Ron DeSantis) has by Executive Order (Number 25-44) has created the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) at the State level in an effort to stop the wasteful spending within our various State, County and Local Governments.
If there was any agency in the State of Florida that needs a review one could easily find it at the Lee County Sheriff Office in Fort Myers, Florida.
This section will deal with the amount of funds that the Lee County Sheriff Office has spent over the last six years at the direction of Sheriff Carmine Marceno. The list of excessive expenditures are vast and not all areas of infractions can be determined without a Performance Audit of the Agency.
This site will start off with the unnecessary expenditures that have taken place under the leadership of Sheriff Carmine Marceno.
