What are the real purposes of the Out Reach Centers in Lee County that are operated by the Lee County Sheriff Office. What is the public purpose of these Out Reach Centers in Lee County that have life size portraits of Carmine Marceno? Is there a political promotion of Carmine Marceno taking place with these centers? It has been said in the political promotions that one needs to get their name out there so that they will have name recognition when it comes time to vote. That is the purpose of billboards and highway signage when the candidate is running for a political position. In checking with these centers one would find that some are only open fifty percent of normal operation hours and that the amount of people going into these centers is less than ten people per day. 

There is an argument that these centers are opened for other actives such as classes that are either given or sponsored by LCSO. These Outreach Centers pay a monthly fee for rental of the property. 

Each Center pays a monthly rental for use and lease of the property. The real questions on these centers is 

1. "What is the Public Purpose" of these centers.

2. Do these centers operated for the benefit of Carmine Marceno political exposure? 

3. What is the true cost of these Centers? 

4. What are the performance measures for these Centers? (People coming in) compared to (hours opened).

5. Where is the BOCC in granting funds without verifications as to how the Taxpayers funds are being spent? 

6. The cost just to open a Community Center is estimated to be $ 78,000.00. Eight Centers have been opened since FY2020. This is a total of $ 624,000.00 to open the centers which does not include the reoccurring lease of the buildings and the reoccurring cost of the staff.
