USE OF LCSO CREDIT CARD BY INTERIM SHERIFF CARMINE MARCENO

Can a political office holder use his issued governmental credit card in his official capacity to purchase items such as clothing (including a Tuxedo for $ 759.73) for himself, membership to Wrestlers In Business Network for $ 50.00, a $ 400.00 tip to the Deromo's Gourmet Restaurant, and provided lunches to various civic leaders, attorneys, staff, along with other questionable expenditures? What is the public purpose for use of the Taxpayers monies for these purchases? Why does one group or individual be gifted with use these expenditures and another group not? What was the motive and reason for the purchases? These are questions that need to be answered. The total credit card usage was $ 2,370.02 as it relates to these purchases. Exhibit 1 contains the use of the credit card by Interim Sheriff Carmine Marceno, Exhibit 2 contains a summary of those usages and Exhibit 3 is the receipts provided by Marceno to the LCSO Accounting Office. 

UPDATE 10/04/2021

The Ethics Commission conducted a review of both the Tallahassee Trip and the Credit Card Expenditures (Exhibit 4) and found no issues except the Failure to report a gift (Use of Private Aircraft) within 90 days (Exhibit 5).
