JUST THE FACTS

Is there any integrity within the political system and within the politicians themselves? Do politicians serve themselves or serve the people they represent? Do politicians coverup unethical behavior, immoral conduct, and unqualified standards of other politicians? Do politicians go where the political capital is no matter at what cost?

Can an election be so influenced by monetary efforts, powerful influences, use of taxpayers funds for personal gain, and the the support of the elite to such a degree that the general public knows nothing about the true identity of the candidate that is running for public office?

Are there any check and balances within the election system that provides a process for the most qualified persons to be elected rather than one that can be bought and elected with money and political influence?

Are the media groups acting in the best interest of the general public to safe guard against corruption or do they operate with only their own self interest when reporting on the politicians and the political process? Can a politician who holds a powerful political office control the media with their political advertisement money or differential treatment? Can a politician holding office be unresponsive to certain media and cooperative with other media group based on positive or negative reporting?

Over the next number of months we will attempt through this web site to seek truth through factual findings to present to the reader. The purpose of presenting “The Facts” is for the reader to reach their own conclusions of the truthfulness based on facts and facts only.

We will start with the Lee County Sheriff political race and ask the question, how does a Corporal with no command experiences, no educational accomplishments, and a lack of discretionary conduct rise to become Sheriff of Lee County, Florida? How has the political leaders and community failed us? How has the Republican Party failed us? How has the civic organizations failed us? How has the Churches failed us? How has the media failed us? How have we failed ourselves? Where are the investigative media reporters?

It is time for us to evaluate where we are going, how we got here, and where do we go. We need to be more involved in what is taking place or else we will have a failed government that is driven by self serving politicians. We need to get ourselves, as citizens, back in an active role of our government. We will be expanding the search for facts into all local government here in Lee County. The 2020 Lee County Sheriff Race will act as our model in seeking truth. Are you ready? Our motto is:
